Who let these two in? Bird and Dean make the trip down from Cleveland each year for the Mini-CANvention, and obviously from the picture they have a great time. Just don't ask Bird to sing any songs.
Sandy Thayer really enjoys hoppy beers. Here she is after sampling a particularly "strong" beer during the annual beer tasting hosted by "Beer" Dave Gausepohl at the Miami Valley Mini-CANvention. If you want to see her reactions for yourself, please join us this July.
Throughout the show site, the you can smell the continuous cooking of famous Dayton brats and burgers provided by Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers. For our more adventurous visitors we also offer jalapeno brats.
In addition to regular members selling and trading breweriana, our show is also attended by several nationally known dealers. Pictured here is Dale Rogalski of The Rogalski Brothers making a deal with a show visitor.
We pride ourselves on serving locally produced beers at our show. The beers range from light lagers to stouts and pale ales. Best of all the beer is always complimentary in the Miami Valley Beer Garden.
Kevin Kates, son of chapter treasurer Bob Kates has a... talent that he developed while at college. You just have to see it to believe it. If your lucky you might be able to convince him to show you at the next show.
